大阪生まれ。2008年独立。現在台湾人とマレーシア人と三人で日本を拠点にデザイン事務所を営んでおり、イタリアで開催されているミラノサローネを始め、ロンドン、台北、上海などのデザイン展示会に参加し国内外のクライアントに家電、日用品、家具などのデザインを提供している。
Born in Osaka. Established KED (KAIRI EGUCHI DESIGN) design studio in 2008. Currently running the company in Japan with a team of three people, a Taiwanese, a Malaysian and myself. KED has participated in various design exhibitions started from Italy’s Milan Salone Satellite then London, Taipei, Shanghai and other major cities. KED also provide design services in household electronic, lifestyle goods, furnitures for both domestic and oversea clients.

学生の頃からもともとAliasを使っていてサーフェースモデリングに慣れていたのですが、独立する時にもっとリーズナブルで汎用性の高いRhinoを導入する事を決意しました。
サーフェースとソリッドを行き来するモデリング概念は、デザイナーと設計者の架け橋に成り得るなと思いました。エントリーソフトウェアくらいの価格ですが、できる事はその何倍も価値があるくらいコストパフォーマンスの高いソフトウェアだと思います。
I used Alias when I was a student and it made me use to surface modeling. However, when I established my own company I was searching for a more reasonable price software and there I decided to purchase Rhino.
I think the concept of using surface and solid to make 3D model can be a bridge between designer and engineer. Also, It is a very high cost performance software that sells in an affordable price but can give you a value that is so many times more.
