Born in Tokyo, Japan.

1990: Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.

1990-96: Worked for GK-TECH, Tokyo, Japan.

1996: Established "Hirota Design Studio" in Tokyo.

1996: Created a brand "NAOCA" for her original fashion and accessory collections.

1997: Exhibition- "La Salone Del Mobile" in Milamo.

1998: Exhibition- "Premiere Classe" in Paris.

1998: Began trading NAOKA series in the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), in New York.

2000: Began trading NAOKA series in the Modern Art Museum in Amsterdam.

2002: Worked as a part-time lecturer at Tokyo National University of Arts and Music.

2003: Joined the selection committee of the Good Design Award in Japan.

Design Awards
1994: Won the gold prize at the International Bag Competition in Toyooka, Japan.

1998: Won the I.D. Annual Design Review in US.

1999: Won the gold prize at the Design Forum Competition.

2004: JIDA Design Museum Selection.
